Nicolien van der Grijp
Nicolien van der Grijp is a senior researcher of the programme International Environmental Governance at the Institute for Environmental Studies of the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. Her research interests are related to Dutch environmental law and policy, and the implementation of European environmental policy and international environmental agreements in the national context. In her present work, she focuses on global legal pluralism, and more specifically on public and private regulatory mechanisms that influence environmental and social performance within international product chains, and the interactions between them.
