Chris Rainier
Chris Rainier is a fellow of the National Geographic Society. He co-directs its All Roads Photography Programme and is in charge of photographic and video documentation for the Enduring Voices project. As a National Geographic Society photographer, he specialises in documenting indigenous cultures for the institution’s Cultures initiative. His life’s mission is to contribute to empowering indigenous peoples, helping them to use photography and technology to enhance their culture and preserve endangered languages. He assisted Ansel Adams in completing all his photographic and conservation projects between 1980 and 1985.
