Meghana Sharafudeen
Meghana Sharafudeen is Associate Program Officer, Global Health and Climate Change, at the Global Challenges Division at WIPO. She works on WIPO Re:Search, WIPO’s platform for sharing innovation in the fight against neglected tropical diseases, TB and malaria, as well as WIPO GREEN, the WIPO platform for facilitating green tech transfer through creating a networked marketplace for sustainable technologies. With a degrees in policy sciences and international trade law, she has previously worked at the World Health Organization on the WHO agenda on incentivizing finance and coordination of R&D for neglected diseases and antimicrobial resistance. She has experience in global policy, project management, advocacy and communications and has worked for both the private and public sectors, particularly in the area of innovation and access issues.
