Didier Hoch obtained his degree in Medicine from Lyon University in Biology, Sports Medicine, Immunology, and Allergology. He also obtained a Masters degree in Marketing from ESCP and a CESA in Finances from HEC. He has been President of the LEEM Biotechnology Committee since 2006, and President of the Health Committee of the MEDEF since 2009. Since 2007, he has been a member of the board of the FINOVI and member of the board within "Les Entreprises du Médicament" (LEEM) from 2003 till 2011. From 2003 to 2009, he was President of the European Vaccine Manufacturers Association (EVM), and in 2002 and 2010, he was Vice President of EVM and a member of the board. In 2008, he was elected "Manager of the Year" and received the Cegedim trophy. Since 2011, he has been board member (Chairman of Pevion Biotech, Effimune, Gentice) and strategic advisor for companies involved in life sciences and health. From 2000 to 2010, he was Chairman and Member of the Directoire of Sanofi Pasteur MSD (EU JV for vaccines between Sanofi Aventis and Merck). From 1998 to 2000, he was the Vice President of Africa and Middle East Rhône-Poulenc Rorer 5 Aventis Pharma international. From 1996 to 1998, he was Deputy General Manager of Rhône-Poulenc Rorer France. From 1990 to 1996, he was Marketing Director and General Director of Spécia (Rhône-Poulenc). In the period from 1985 to 1990, he was Regional Physician, Product Manager, Group Product Manager at Théraplix (Rhône-Poulenc).
