Ahmed Ghoneim
Ahmed Farouk Ghoneim is currently an Associate Professor, Faculty of Economic and Political Science, Cairo University. He is a research associate at the Economic Research Forum for Arab Countries, Iran and Turkey (ERF). He works as a consultant to several international organizations including the World Bank and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). He holds a Ph.D. in Economics and his special interest in research include mainly trade policy, regional trade integration, the multilateral trading system, the World Trade Organization, and the economics of Intellectual Property Rights. He held different policy oriented positions, among which was an advisor on foreign trade issues to the Minister of Foreign Trade and advisor to the Minister of Industry on foreign trade issues and international agreements.
