Mlada Mikulicova
Born in Prague, Czech Republic, 1976 M.A. from Charles University Prague, Faculty of Arts in English Language and Literatures, 2002 M.A. from Catholic Theological Faculty of the same university in Religious Sciences, 2007 Ph.D. from the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in History and Literature of the Ancient Near East. From 1998 assistant at Department of Biblical Sciences, Charles University Catholic Theological Faculty, teaching Biblical Hebrew and Biblical Background. Team member to produce Czech liturgical translation of the Bible (The Pentateuch was published in 2006 as the first part). Member of Charles University´s Pro Oriente Christiano Research Center, to specialize in the history of Christianity in Islamic countries. Research trips to Egypt in 2005-9 (sabbatical semester 2007 in Cairo), Syria, Jordan, and Israel 2009-2010.
