Guilan Wang
Assistant Provost of Global Affairs and Director of the Spiegel Center for Global and International Programs at Roger Williams University (RWU).
Prior to joining RWU, she was the Director of International Education at Central Michigan University between 1999 and 2008. She also served as the Director of International Office at Dartmouth College between 1995 and 1999. Dr. Wang received her ED.D degree in Higher Education Administration and Master degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from West Virginia University, and a BA degree from Shanghai Foreign Studies University, Shanghai, China. Dr. Wang is actively involved in faculty international development, global learning outcome assessment, and other international and global initiatives that support the University mission of “Learning to Bridge the World.” Her current research interests include China’s influence in Africa and the Middle East; impact of study abroad on students; and quality assurance of global learning outcomes.
