Aly Maher
Aly Maher is an Egyptian diplomat and intellectual. After serving as an ambassador to France, he was appointed Secretary-General of the Arab Thought Foundation, where he played an important role in improving crosscultural dialogue and presenting a global view of the Arab culture. From 2006 to 2008, he directed the Institute for Peace Studies. Ambassador Maher is presently Advisor to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
